About Us ...
Part of the mission of the Community Idea Stations is to use the power of media to educate, the Educational Services Department does this by delivering high-quality training and resources to the educators, students and families of Central Virginia. As an extension of this, e-Klips was created to assist teachers and parents in finding on-demand media to support their students' instructional needs.
Launched in September 2007, e-Klips allows users to freely search and utilize a wide range of educational content which has been correlated to the Virginia Standards of Learning. Featuring many locally produced programs, users are able to stream, link, or embed video clips as they explore topics such as history, government, science, and art. Additionally, RSS feeds are available to keep users up to date on all the latest additions to the site. |
